    Born around 1955 Janie Long Napurrula is a Warlpiri woman. She trained as a teacher and taught at Ti-Tree Primary School, located about 190km North of Alice Springs. She began painting in the late 1980’s and often collaborated on larger works with her cousin, Patsy Ross. She uses fine applications of different size dots to create her paintings and often incorporates the songlines for women’s ceremonies into her work.
