Australian Contemporary Artist, Marc Rambeau draws his inspirations from the Australian Landscape. He has been working as a professional artist for the past 40 years and has exhibited all over the globe. Many of his recent works feature areas in an around Canberra such as Oodnatdata. Working in Acrylics, oils and inks on linen and hand-made paper or rice paper gives his work a texture reminiscent of the landscape. He coats the paper in layers of varnish to give stability to the medium.
This painting is framed with a shadow frame, highlighting the painting without detracting from the artwork. This work fits in both traditional and modern interiors and is ready to hang.
In 2008 a book was published about Marc Rambeau and his paintings.
