Willy Tjungurrayi's highly abstracted Tingari paintings make reference to the Tingari ancestor’s travelling over vast stretches of country. Hail Storm at Kaakurantintja tells of a large group of Tingari Men who travelled to this site in mythical times only to be killed by a fierce hailstorm. He uses lines frenetically interspersed with white dots to represent the hail stones.
